This page provides you with information on how to use Banco de Mexico's search engine.

For doing a search you only need to type in the search box terms that best describe the information you want and hit Enter or click the Search button. The more terms are included the greater the chance of finding the exact information sought. The terms to be included in the search must be separated by a space.

A document, page or reference will be part of the result set only if it contains every one of the search terms in it's body or title.

If you want to show results with the exact phrase, you can do this by "surrounding your phrase with quotes". A phrase is considered as being one search term and can be combined with other search terms.

• Example: "Consumer price index"

If you want to show results without the words, you can do this by adding a - (minus sign) to the beginning of the word you don't want.

• Example: Annual report -summary

This search engine is case insensitive. A search for interes rate is the same as a search for Interest Rate.
