1 / The purpose of this index is to measure the perception on the quality of banknotes in circulation. The scale of the index is 0 to 10, where 0 means that the note is perceived as very damaged and 10 means that the note is perceived as new.
The annual averages are obtained from the quarterly values published on Banknotes and coins > Statistics >Banknotes and coins >Indicators of public perception of banknotes >Quaterly survey.
