Notes:
1/ For each company, the stock market capitalization is defined as
the number of stocks times its market price. For a detailed explanation see the Mexican Stock Exchange web page: Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) and Bolsa Institucional de Valores (BIVA). Starting on July 2020, the stock market capitalization includes information on stocks traded on BMV and BIVA. The first initial public offering on BIVA took place on said date.
2/ The new methodology for the sector classification
began on March 30th, 2009.
As a result of the new sector classification by the Mexican Stock Exchange, the publication of information corresponding to the previous classification stopped in April 2009.
3/ Real Estate Investment Trust.
4/ Including other sectors and holding companies.
For a detailed explanation see the Mexican Stock Exchange web page: Bolsa Mexicana de Valores.
