This section contains exclusively the names of the departments, as well as those of the head officers, authorized to perform the duties conferred by Banco de México's Bylaws.

Additionally, it includes the name and title of those officers with authority delegated by the General Directors, Directors or the Comptroller, by previous agreement with the Governor of Banco de México, in terms of Article 11 of the above- mentioned Bylaws (available only in Spanish).

Integration of this section is provided according to Banco de México's Bylaws, to the Acuerdo de Adscripción de las Unidades Administrativas del Banco de México, as well as the resolutions by which powers are granted.

Petitions/cognizance of signatures in the event of a legal transaction or of a legal issue with Banco de México, must be made in writing to Av. 5 de Mayo N° 2, Col. Centro, Deleg. Cuauhtémoc, 06059 México, D.F., to the attention of the Gerencia de Control Normativo, (Control Regulations Manager), Banco de México, indicating the reasons and the corresponding legal interest; the Regulations Manager will evaluate the request and issue, should it be the case, the corresponding statement.

Historic information is also available as of 1998; if it is needed, a request must be made in terms of the above paragraph.
