This security feature has been included in the current G-type 100-, 200-, 500-, and 1000-peso banknotes. It is made up of a numeral containing small numbers within it that shifts colors when the banknote is tilted: from gold to green in the 100-peso banknote, from green to blue in the 200- and 500-peso banknotes, from purple to green in the 1000-banknote, and from gold to jade in the 20-peso banknote commemorating the bicentennial of Mexico’s Independence. Both the numeral and the small numbers within the numeral correspond to the banknote’s denomination.
