Clear window
|
It is a transparent zone in the banknotes made of polymer on which some elements can be added, such an embossed number. The 20- and 50-peso banknotes have a clear window in which the denomination can be seen on top of lines. The new design of the 50-peso banknote has the same characteristic in its lower clear window. In the 100-peso banknote, corncob grains can be observed on the clear window. Such characteristics are embossed on the clear window and therefore are perceptible by touch. The clear windows are included in the polymer from the time of its manufacture.
