As part of the fight against counterfeiting in Mexico, Banco de Mexico, through the Directorate General of Currency Issuance, trains financial institutions, legal authorities, government institutions, and companies which handle huge amounts of money. There are two kinds of courses: Face-to-face course The training is given by experts from Banco de Mexico. In Mexico City, the course takes place in Banco de Mexico's facilities whereas in Guadalajara, Hermosillo, Mérida, Mexicali, Monterrey, and Veracruz, the course can be given at the institution's facilities. E-learning (available only in Spanish) It is appropriate for companies that handle huge amounts of money such as departamental stores, banks, processing cash companies, foreign exchange offices, retail chains like drugstores, shops, and so on.
