NOTES:
-
The test coins that Banco de México requests from the Mint of Mexico are not included in this table.
-
These are the coins put into circulation by Banco de México in denominations of ten and 20 pesos, representative of the monetary unit that is currently legal tender, minted to commemorate the arrival of the year 2000 and the beginning of the third millennium.
-
The series consists of three coins: A ten-peso coin with a design similar to that of the ten-peso Type C coin that coexists with it, and two 20-peso coins with new designs. The latter coins commemorate our past by depicting the “new fire” ceremony and our present by depicting the universal work of the writer Octavio Paz.
