Exchange of damaged or old banknotes and coins
|
| Damaged banknotes |
Banknotes not suitable for circulation, that is,
deteriorated,
patched,
incomplete banknotes of value, and
deformed banknotes, can be exchanged for banknotes suitable for
circulation, depending on the evaluation by the exchange center or bank where you are a
customer.
|
| No longer manufactured banknotes and coins |
Banknotes and coins that are no longer manufactured may retain part of their value and can be exchanged for their current circulation equivalents. Value depends on the type of banknote or coin as well as on its condition. To determine value and receive currently circulating currency, go to any exchange center or bank where you are a customer.
