The micro-printed texts are small words and/or numerals, which generally require a magnifying glass to be read.
In the 100- and 500-peso notes you can see lines that frame the front and back of the notes. In them you can observe the micro-printing, which consists of a repeated impression of the text “BANCO DE MEXICO”.
The 20-, 50-, 200-, and 1000-peso banknotes contain the words “20PESOS”, “50PESOS”, "200PESOS", and “1000PESOS” (respectively), repeated several times, on the back and front of the notes. These notes also have a diminishing micro-printed text, which consists of letters that decrease in size. The first row has the largest letter, which diminishes in size from one row to the next. You almost always need a magnifying glass to read the last rows.
