This consists of impressions made on both sides of the note which, seen against the light, complement each other exactly, forming the corresponding denomination number in the banknotes of 100 and 500 pesos. A map of Mexico and the wind rose are formed in the 20-, 50-, 200-, and 1000- peso banknotes. This security feature is found on the extreme left-hand side of the banknotes of 100 and 500 pesos, and on the right-hand side of the notes of 20, 50, 200, and 1000 pesos.

To observe this security feature, you should hold the note against the light.
