Financial intermediaries

These are institutions acting as mediators for those who want to receive funds and those who want to invest them, thus transforming maturities, amounts, and risks, and thereby reducing costs.

Financial intermediaries must be authorized by the Ministry of Finance to be founded and initiate operations. The following types of financial intermediaries currently exist in Mexico.
