Announcement:*** Notice regarding the update of the Real exchange rate with respect to 111 countries ***As a result of the U.S. federal government shutdown that began on October 1, 2025, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) announced that it was unable to collect the survey information for October 2025 and, therefore, will not publish the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for that month. In this context, and in order to preserve the continuity of the real exchange rate with respect to 111 countries, Banco de México used, as a substitute for this variable, the U.S. inflation estimate (nowcasting) published by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland to produce the calculation corresponding to October 2025.
