It is conducted on adults that live in cities/towns with 50 thousand inhabitants or more. Data of the last quarter published might vary because the database is subject to revisions. 1 / The range is between 0 to 10, where 0 means that the banknote or coin is perceived as very damaged and 10 means that it is perceived as new. 2/ As of the fourth quarter of 2019, the "Percentage of people who check the authenticity of their banknotes" replaces "Percentage of people who say they check their banknotes", which will not longer be updated. 3/ As of the fourth quarter of 2019, the "Percentage of people who did not receive their full change on their last purchase" replaces "Percentage of people who, when making a purchase, had no change at the commerce", which will not longer be updated. 4/ Due to the contingency related to the SARS-COV2 (COVID-19) situation, the survey for the second quarter of 2020 was not conducted and the values for the indicators could not be obtained. 5/ The 2026 data is subject to change, as the databases are currently under review.
