1/ Domestic sources refer to domestic financial assets (F1) which include the monetary aggregate M3 and other financial instruments outside of M3 but held by the resident money holder sector. For further details, please check the methodological document concerning Monetary Aggregates and Domestic Financial Assets.
2/ Domestic monetary sources are the monetary aggregate M3, which is equal to monetary aggregate M2 plus securities issued by the Federal Government, Banco de México's Bonds (BREMs) and Institute for the Protection of Bank Savings (IPAB) securities held by the money holder resident sector.
3/ Includes savings funds for housing and retirement.
4/ Includes private sector securities, other public securities and other bank liabilities (debt securities issued by banks with a residual maturity of more than five years and subordinated debentures).
