The reverse of the coin features the façade of Banco de México’s main building in the center of the field, offset to the left. Above it and slightly to the right, the commemorative logo is visible and consists of a band of undulating lines and the inscription “100. Banco de México. 1925-2025”. The edge bears the commemorative inscription: “Centenario de la fundación del Banco de México” (100th anniversary of Banco de México’s founding). It also features the denomination “$10” and the Mexican Mint mark “M°”.
The obverse of the coin features the National Coat of Arms in the center, along with the inscription “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” (United Mexican States), bordered by replicas of the coats of arms used throughout Mexico’s history. It also depicts the eagle appearing on the first folio of the Codex Mendoza.
