The figure of general Emiliano Zapata Salazar appears at the center of the coin, and, in the background, on the left side, there is a peasant farmer plowing the soil. On the right side of the coin, there is an image of Mexico’s map (latent image), and, in the upper part, on the hat, a micro text reading “TIERRA Y LIBERTAD” ("LAND AND FREEDOM"). In the upper semicircle surrounding the edges of the coin, there is the legend "EMILIANO ZAPATA SALAZAR”. On the left side of the coin, there is Mexico’s mintmark, and, in the exergue, the "$20" denomination and the years 1919 and 2019. |
